My Bloomin’ Whitby
We’re looking for videos that are short and fun, that show how Bloomin’ Whitby can be enjoyed. They could be of your garden at school or at home, a biodiversity project, bug hotels, forest school or even just seed growing. If it fits within the theme My Blooming Whitby anything goes.
You don’t need a lot of hi-tech stuff a video produced on a phone will be perfect.
Videos will be judged by an independent panel. All entries will be awarded Certificates and invited to the prestigious Bloom Awards evening in September.
The judges will decide on an overall winner in each category who will receive a further prize.
Entries can come from just you or from a group of friends and by short we mean short. Your video should be no more than one minute or up to three minutes if you are entering with your friends.
We will divide videos into group or individual entries in three age groups:
· Under (school) year 6 (inclusive)
· Year 7 to Year 12 (inclusive)
· Adults (over Year 12)
You may submit any number of entries.
A selection of the best videos will appear in the official Whitby in Bloom presentation and the winners will be invited to present their entries to the ‘in Bloom’ judges.
Once you have had fun making your video send it to firstname.lastname@example.org before the 2nd July please make sure your name and school year group appear on your entry.
By entering you are agreeing to your video being used for promotional purposes. Please do not include images of people in your videos.
